Golden Globes 2018: Our 8 Favorite Beauty Looks
Dana Manuel
Published on

With big stars gathering as a united front against sexual harassment in all-black ensembles, the 2018 Golden Globes was nothing short of inspirational for women around the world. Aside from the empowering speeches from the most influential women in the entertainment industry (most notably, Oprah’s), we’re taking inspiration from all the gorgeous beauty looks that graced the red carpet.

Red lipstick has always been a classic symbol of power and rebellion, which is probably why we saw a lot of stars sporting the bold lip color. Aside from red lips, we also saw sleek hair and smoky eyeshadow looks—the beauty inspo is bountiful!

Below are our top beauty picks from the 2018 Golden Globes.

Mandy Moore

Mandy Moore always slays in the red carpet and her Golden Globes look did not disappoint. Her hair was in a middle-parted updo, which paired beautifully with a pop of orange-red lips and a flawless matte complexion.

Millie Bobby Brown

The Stranger Things star looked modern and chic at the Golden Globes. Besides her cat eye, the topknot with the French braids at the back gives a unique touch to her look.

Katherine Langford

Katherine went sultry for the Golden Globes. The dark smoky eye paired with a soft pink flush and nude lips look stunning matched with her long, wavy locks. But the star of the look (pun intended) is her sparkly hair accent.

Claire Foy

Matte scarlet lips took center stage for The Crown star's makeup look. Claire paired hers with a pair of bold lashes and subtly bronzed skin. The slicked back hair with the bold lips makes for a powerful look appropriate for the night’s theme.

Emma Stone

Emma looked regal on the red carpet with emerald green smoky eyes paired with lavender lips. Her makeup artist, Rachel Goodwin, purposely used the colors green, white, and purple as an homage to the Women’s Suffrage Movement in the late 1800s.

Dakota Johnson

Dakota's fringe is giving us some major hair inspo. Paired with simple, barely there makeup, her look is understated and sophisticated.

Shay Mitchell

If there’s anyone who can pull off glam, it’s definitely Shay Mitchell. We can't help but gush over her bold red lips, glowy bronzed skin, and full lashes. Red was definitely the prominent color of the night and we’re not complaining.

iamClaire. Recommends: ColourPop Matte Lippie Stix in Bossy

Jamie Chung

The 34-year old actress, Jamie Chung, looks all sorts of chic at the red carpet. We are fans of her sleek, middle-parted straight hair, partnered with beautiful terracotta lips.
