3 Relatable Twitter Accounts to Follow

While there’s a huge variety of witty tweets flooding our feeds every day, there are some that seem to speak to us on a whole different level. These relatable tweets make us say, “That’s so me!”, because they voice out the things we are too scared or embarrassed to say. Not only are they entertaining, but they also give us a sense of comfort because they reassure us that we’re not the only ones who think this way.

If you’re having a particularly stressful week, give yourself a break by scrolling through these accounts:

1. Adulting @tbhadulting

Adulting (v): to do grown up things and hold responsibilities such as, a 9-5 job, a mortgage, a car payment, or anything else that makes one think of grown-ups.

The account’s bio gives us its own definition of the word “adulting”. A relatively new account, @tbhadulting was created in September and currently has more than 100k followers. Its tweets may be short and snappy, but they speak volumes. Exhibit A:

2. Awkward Girl @AwkGrlPrblms

I'm like Cady Heron meets Taylor Swift, but without the musical talent or ex-boyfriends.

If the previous Twitter account makes you think about all this “adulting” you have going on, @AwkGrlPrblms will give you major nostalgia. Its tweets are full of pop culture references, puns, and is managed by 25-year-old Erin who’s not afraid to tweet about embarrassing habits.

3. Common Girl @SoRelatable

It claims to be relatable and it is relatable. This account has almost two million followers and has been around for years. @SoRelatable tweets about all things “common” girls go through such as getting her life on track and relationships with members of her family. The account also relies heavily on social media memes and puns.
