Living Better: Why It Should Be a Priority

Are you guilty of splurging on gym memberships and monthly fitness promos only to find yourself putting off your fitness goals again? That’s not surprising. The results of the 2016 Healthy Living Index on Filipinos’ behavior and perception towards health revealed that while adults in the country have high self-awareness on the need to improve their health, they fail to do so because of unhealthy habits and poor lifestyle choices. The commitment to staying healthy and well is still hard to come by, which should not be the case. Taking good care of the body goes beyond just an Instagrammable physique—it should do your mind and soul good, too!

Here, three reasons why you should live healthier today:

1. You’ll be happier! Being healthy on the inside will reflect how you look and feel on the outside. It’ll lessen your stress and keep the endorphins coming.

2. You’ll live longer. By living healthier, you can strengthen your immune system and increase your life expectancy. You will also be less likely to suffer from diseases.

3. You can inspire other people. Once your peers see what living healthier has done for you, it will motivate them to follow in your footsteps.

This is the root of Philam Life’s Live Better campaign.

Live Better is a wellness campaign that started with the Philam Vitality program, which gave customers rewards for being active and taking charge of their health. This year, Philam Life’s #LiveBetter Expo and campaign takes consumers through an experiential journey of the brand’s four key pillars: fitness, food, wellness, and financial health.

The campaign also aims to help Filipinos bridge the gap between what they want to achieve with regards to their health and their current lifestyle, creating a positive difference in their lives.

Joining the campaign are Philam Life ambassadors Solenn Heussaff, Nico Bolzico, Wil Dasovich, and Raymond Gutierrez, who are all thought leaders in the health and wellness space.
