If you want to stand out this Halloween without having to exert much effort or break the bank on your costume, the recent trending galaxy makeup is for you. This unique, head-turning look also pretty easy to DIY. You’ll be amazed by what glitter and eyeshadow can do. We rounded up our favorite intergalactic looks that are so majestic it’s impossible not to be mesmerized. The best part? You can pair these looks with just about any costume you want. Scroll down to see five stellar makeup looks you can rock this Halloween.

Galaxy Freckles

Be a cosmic princess with this constellation makeup look that will have everyone stargazing. Cop the look by applying blue and pink eyeshadow across the face as a base. Use a fine-tipped white eyeliner to trace the constellation. Finish off the look with a soft pink-purple lippie like the Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Bianca.

Iridescent Unicorn Cheeks
If you’ve been harboring unicorn dreams, now’s your chance to turn it into reality. This makeup look requires a lot of pink, blue, and purple highlighter to achieve that ethereal glow. Apply a generous amount of highlighter all over the cheeks, eyelids, temples, forehead, and a bit on the nose as well. For the lips, apply a matte purple lipstick like Colourpop’s Ultra Satin Lip in Femme then highlight your center pout.

Mignight Blue Glitter

Not feeling the pastel shades? Go for an edgier version of the galaxy makeup look like this one. Recreate it by dusting a dark blue eyeshadow like the Girlactik Beauty Star Shadow in Midnight from your eyelid up to your temple and then create dimension by blending a black eyeshadow like the shade Noir from Sleek’s i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette in Oh So Special on the crease of your eyelid. Apply glitter glue on top of the shadow before dusting some glitter and gold flakes. Do the same steps on your neck then apply a pair of bold falsies.

Rainbow Brite

This starry pastel makeup might as well be hung on a wall. This work of art requires a bit more skill, but it’s definitely doable (and totally worth it) with enough practice. You’ll need a dark blue, purple, pink, baby blue, green, and yellow face paint to create this mystical look. Layer the colors in a random pattern—no need to be precise as we are going for a watercolor effect. Now for the fun part: apply star-shaped confetti all over your forehead, cheeks, and hair. Keep the lips fresh with a rosy pink lip tint like the Labiotte Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint in Blush Pink.

Glitter Hair Buns

Now that you have your galaxy makeup pegs, here’s a celestial hair look to match with your makeup. To get the look, part your hair in the middle before taking sections from both sides to create the braids. Twist the ends in a bun and secure with an elastic band. Create the glitter roots by mixing in some silver glitter and hair gel in a bowl. Apply the mixture directly on your roots with a brush, then get some star-shaped stickers and apply haphazardly (the messier, the better!).
