Our Favorite Beauty Looks At The Teen Choice Awards
Dana Manuel
Published on

As beauty girls, there’s nothing we appreciate more than a flawlessly executed hair and makeup look. It’s no different from admiring a fine piece of art, really. Award shows are always a great source of these beauty inspirations and the 2017 Teen Choice Awards is no exception.

Among those who walked the blue carpet for this year’s Teen Choice Awards were teen queens Zendaya, Vanessa Hudgens, Lucy Hale, and Peyton List, as well as beauty gurus Nikki de Jager and Patrick Simondac.

Glowing, healthy skin paired with colorful shades (think purple, burnt orange, and berry) was the standout makeup trend of the night—and we’re all for it. Here are our top picks.

#Zendaya out here killin the game as usual! 🔥 #TCAs

Zendaya always slays whatever carpet she’s walking on. We are loving her burnt orange monochromatic makeup look, not to mention those larger than life curls.

Lucy Hale

Lucy Hale’s berry-toned makeup looks so fresh and youthful. We don’t think we’ve ever seen a more appropriate look for the Teen Choice Awards. Fun fact: Her makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan used the same lipstick on her eyelids then set it with a powder shadow of the same shade—genius!

Peyton List

Disney star Peyton List looks drop dead gorgeous with her eye makeup matching her dress. Here she wore a wash of orange and bronze on the lids while keeping the rest of her face neutral. This look is a refreshing iteration of the classic smoky eye and we’re digging it.

Paris Jackson

thank you @teenchoicefox for the nominations and thank you to everyone who voted both for me or for my fellow nominees!

There’s something really sophisticated and low-key glamorous about Paris Jackson’s makeup look. The earthy tones with the feathered brows gave a soft and romantic vibe. This look is also pretty easy to recreate—just apply a neutral sand-toned eyeshadow all over the lid and smudge it along the waterline, then pair it with a brownish nude lipstick.

Vanessa Hudgens

Vanessa Hudgens definitely brought her A-game to the awards show when she sported purple glittery eyeshadow with winged liner and fluttery lashes. Honestly, purple never looked this good. The whole look screams glamour especially with her hair in a sleek, side-parted ponytail.
